Inspired by the aerodynamic lines of spacecraft, the X-01 is precision-machined to exacting tolerances from a solid piece of pure titanium which give it a distinct feel and superb balance in the hand. 

The X-01 features a solid metal twist mechanism, also precision-machined, for excellent reliability over many years of use.

The X-01 is a capless rollerball (Schmidt P8126 refill), which writes smoother than a ballpoint as it uses water-based ink instead of oil-based ink. The X-01 can also be used with Parker-style refills.
